The Poor are Jesus and Key to Your Blessing
Never scorn poor people. I've seen a lot of folks deride the poor and say that if only there were no lazy people in the world there wouldn't be any poor people at all. They think hard work is what keeps us out of poverty. They quickly conclude: poor = lazy. Photo by Baptiste Riethmann on Unsplash . Well, I've seen a lot of hard working people who remained poor. Financial prosperity doesn't depend on your hard work but ultimately on God's will. I know many will not agree with this, but it doesn't matter if they agree or not. Laziness doesn't always equate to poverty. Jesus lived as a poor carpenter but he was far from being lazy. And I know a lot of lazy people who are rich. It is God who decides who will be rich, who will be middle income, and who will be poor, and he has reasons for all the above. It's all by his grace and mercy, not by hard works or determination.
